Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Leah Vinitsky is our newest staff veterinarian here at Greenpoint Veterinary Hospital, joining us in 2016. She is a general practitioner of veterinary medicine.After receiving her Bachelor of Science from Antioch College in 2000, Dr. Vinitskys interest in marine biology quickly turned into a love of small animal veterinary medicine. She then enrolled in Ross Universitys School of Veterinary Medicine, where she earned her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 2004.Having grown up in different parts of the United States and Israel, Dr. Vinitsky has now made Brooklyn her home. Here she lives with her husband, two children, two cats and a terrier named Ziggy. When you come by our hospital, you may even get a chance to say hi to Ziggy, as he is her four-legged sidekick.
