Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Brown grew up in southern California and since she was 5 years old she dreamed of becoming a veterinarian. She remained focused and earned an animal science degree with a concentration in pre-veterinary medicine from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo in 2004. She went on to receive her doctorate in veterinary medicine from the only veterinary school in southern California, Western University of Health Sciences, in 2009.Dr. Brown was immediately accepted into the respected internship at California Animal Hospital in Los Angeles and trained under the guidance of multiple specialists in such areas including internal medicine, surgery, cardiology, emergency medicine and neurology.While at Doctors Pet Clinic, Dr. Brown has further developed her skills and interest in dentistry, having the privilege of learning from veterinary dental specialists. She also has a special interest in small pocket pets after rescuing two rabbits while in college. She is currently the proud guardian of a rabbit, Nevada, and two cats, Pinky and Junior.
