Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Nicole Mercurio completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Rhode Island where she received a Bachelor of Science in Pre-Veterinary Studies. After being presented with a unique opportunity, Dr. Mercurio went to London, England to attend the Royal Veterinary College where she received her veterinary degree. Dr. Mercurio has been practicing veterinary medicine since 1999 and joined the MLVH family in 2003. Her veterinary interests include soft tissue surgery, dentistry and all aspects of veterinary medicine. While not at work, Dr. Mercurio enjoys spending her time outdoors: hiking, boating, gardening, and spending time on the North Fork Beaches. Most importantly, Dr. Mercurio enjoys doing these activities with her two young children and 11-year-old Labrador, Cruiser. She also enjoys spending quality time with her two elderly cats, Lexi and Stretch.
