Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Nana Kramer is a native of Berlin, Germany and graduated from the Freie Universitaet, Berlin, veterinary medical school in 1999. She completed a one-year rotating small animal medicine and surgery internship at Atlantic Coast Veterinary Specialists in 2008. During this time she developed a passion for critical care and emergency medicine. Dr. Kramer enjoys all aspects of small animal medicine, but has a soft spot for geriatric feline patients and their special needs. The occasional pocket pet, bunny rabbit or avian patient always catches her attention. She is active in the equestrian sport of Dressage, which has a long tradition in her native country of Germany. When free time allows, Dr. Kramer loves to compete with her horse, volunteer at dressage events or support her fellow team members. She makes her home in the south shore of Long Island with several happy pets, all of them rescued.
