Veterinarian Overview
We welcomed Dr. Perez to Fox Creek Veterinary Hospital in June of 2014. He graduated high school from Parkway West in 2003, and then continued his education at Saint Louis University where he received a B. A. in Biology. From there he attended University of Missouri Columbia; College of Veterinary Medicine and graduated in 2013. During his time at Mizzou he participated with Accelerated Genetics which allowed him to become certified in Artificial Insemination, and received a Clinical Small Animal Dentistry Certification from University of Illinois; College of Veterinary Medicine. Additionally, during his time at the University of Missouri, Dr. Perez was awarded the Virginia L. Busch Scholarship for outstanding leadership, character, and integrity as well as the Senior Student Radiology Award for excellence in Veterinary Clinical Radiology.Dr. Perez has special interests in Dermatology, Dentistry, Radiology, Theriogeniology (Reproduction), and Canine Sports Medicine.Dr. Perez and his wife Julie reside in Chesterfield Missouri with their beautiful daughter Olivia Marie, and their two Chocolate Labradors, Roxy who is 11 years old and Lucy (Roxys great niece) who is 1 year old.In his spare time he enjoys his time with family and friends, outdoor activities such as hiking, biking, fishing, dog training and Field Trial/ Hunting Test Competitions with his dog Lucy. Dr. Perez has found himself very lucky to have grown up in a very diverse household. It is one that is bilingual (English/Spanish) and multicultural as his family has a horse ranch (KANiM Ranch) in Clarksville Missouri. Though he grew up in West County, he has always felt a strong connection to his roots, both Cuban and those in Clarksville
