Veterinarian Overview
Doctor Matt Bechtel is a 2002 graduate of the University of Missouri- Columbia, College of Veterinary Medicine. He is very excited to be joining the Fox Creek Veterinary Hospital Team. Dr. Bechtel has 15 years of experience in all aspects of small animal medicine and surgery, including pocket pets such as rabbits, guinea pigs, and sugar gliders with a special interest in internal medicine and dentistry. Dr. Bechtel lives in Wildwood with his wife Jayme, daughter Olivia, son Jason, and their mini-zoo including two dogs, Gracie and Oliver, five cats Haley, Larry, Rosie, Ralph and Linus, many freshwater fish, two hermit crabs and a sugar glider named Kevin. He is a huge sports fan especially Mizzou football/basketball, the Cardinals and the Blues. He especially enjoys spending time with his family and sharing his love of animals with his kids.
