Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Betsy is a Saint Louis native. After graduating high school from Lafayette, she attended Bradley University where she received her bachelors of science with honors. The next few years were spent working as a veterinary assistant in West County until she was accepted into veterinary school at Mizzou. While in veterinary school, she did two preceptorships (internships) at Hillside Animal Hospital. In 2007, she received her doctor of veterinary medicine and working at a small animal hospital in West County for the next year. The following year, she started at Hillside Animal Hospital and has been there ever since. In her personal life, she is married and has two children, Henry and Emily. At home, she has a cat named Handsome Rob, and a dog Porter. Porter frequently comes to work with her and you might see him wandering around the clinic.
