Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Vicki Black joined the Galloway Village Team in 2014. She grew up on a beef cattle and row crop farm near Freistatt, Mo. She attended Missouri State University, majoring in animal science, before transferring and graduating with her Doctor in Veterinary Medicine from the University of Missouri in 2004. Dr. Black practiced mixed animal medicine for 7 years before limiting her practice to small animals. Dr. Black enjoys all aspects of general practice including surgery. Her special interest is making sure your pet lives their best life through wellness and preventative measures. Outside of work, Dr. Black enjoys spending time with her husband, two young sons and a house full of critters. She also enjoys gardening and she is active in her church.
