Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Meda McClure grew up in southwest Missouri. Her family raised animals ranging from horses to rabbits. She has always had a talent for working with animals and has centered her life around the care and companionship of all species. She earned her undergraduate degree in Animal Sciences and Behavior at Missouri State University while working as a veterinary technician. She then graduated with a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Ross University and spent her clinical year at Colorado State University. Dr. McClure then moved back to Missouri and spent a few years as an associate in a mixed animal practice. In 2012, she started Greener Pastures, an in-home pet hospice service that allows her to help geriatric and terminally ill pets in the comfort of their own homes. When she isn't working, Dr. McClure spends time with her husband and son. They have a small dairy goat farm and also have three dogs, several cats and chickens.
