Veterinarian Overview
Liisa D. Carlson, D.V.M., received her veterinary medical degree from the University of Missouri College of Veterinary Medicine and was a member of the Veterinary Honor Society Phi Zeta. In 1988, Dr. Carlson returned to Springfield to join her father, Dr. Delbert Carlson, at the Carlson Pet Hospital. She is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, Southwestern Veterinary Medical Association, and a founding member of the Emergency Clinics of Southwest Missouri.Dr. Carlson is also the author/co-author of the top selling book series: The Dog Owners Home Veterinary Handbook and the Cat owners Home Veterinary Handbook which is available at the office or at Amazon.com.
