Dr. Teresa Bradley Bays is an expert veterinarian with a sincere passion for high-quality pet care. Over the years, Dr. Bradley Bays has transformed a local veterinary facility, Belton Animal Clinic, from a small one-doctor practice to a bustling four-doctor facility. Her expertise does not end with canine and feline care. Rather, Dr. Bradley Bays is highly experienced in exotic pet species. So much so that she is a Board Certified specialist in Exotic Companion Mammals, an honor that is held by a mere 20 veterinarians globally! She is also an internationally-acclaimed lecturer and author on exotic pet species.Dr. Bradley Bays is a Certified Veterinary Acupuncturist. Her skills have helped countless canines, felines, ferrets, rabbits, birds and several lizards live a happy and comfortable life. In addition, she is learning more about Chinese Herbal Therapy, which will offer even greater pain management and supportive care options for her clients and their pets. While Dr. Bradley Bays loves helping her patients in any way she can, she finds great fulfillment in performing challenging surgical procedures that will help dogs, cats and exotic mammals have a greater quality of life.Dr. Bradley Bays has composed articles, book chapters, and is co-author and co-editor of Exotic Pet Behavior: Birds, Reptiles, and Small Mammals. In the past, she has been president of the Association of Reptilian and Amphibian Veterinarians and of the Missouri Academy of Veterinary Practitioners. Dr. Bradley Bays is also a co-leader of the KC-CAN (Caring for All Network). This organization aims to spread information regarding the ties between animal abuse and domestic violence.
