Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Sappington grew up just an hour down the road in Hermann, Missouri. She received her bachelors degree in Biology from Truman State University before moving on to veterinary school at the University of Missouri. After graduating in 2009, she joined a private practice just outside Kansas City. There she had the opportunity to work with cats, dogs, and numerous pocket pets and exotic species. She couldnt stay away from Columbia for long, though. She moved back in 2010, joining the great team at Rock Bridge Animal Hospital. She lives with her husband Bryan, her adorable son Drew, and 2 cats: Helen of Troy and Cleopatra. Dr. Sappington enjoys the challenges of bringing sick patients back to health, but also emphasizes good preventative medicine to keep them healthy! Outside of work she enjoys playing volleyball, piano, board games, and spending lots of quality time with the family.
