Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Helen Stortz joined Westglen Animal Hospital in June 2014, and is very excited to join the family at the clinic. She graduated from the University of Missouri in 1986 and from there has worked in a variety of clinical settings. She has worked in emergency medicine and shelter medicine, she has owned a practice, and even worked with the army in Germany for three and a half years. Dr. Stortz grew up in Ballwin, has three sons—one recent graduate from West Point, one at the University of South Florida, and one starting school at Missouri S&T. She also has two kitties, Maeva and new kitty named Sheldon. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family, traveling, reading, and gardening.
