Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Veitch is a St. Mary's native and son of Dr. Michael Veitch, one of the founders of Three Notch and Park. He graduated from Great Mills High School and went on to earn his Bachelor's Degree in Microbiology from the University of Georgia, and his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from University of Georgia, College of Veterinary Medicine. Following his graduation, Dr. Veitch completed an emergency medicine internship at the Veterinary Emergency and Specialty Center in Richmond, Virginia. Loving the fast paced environment, he stayed on as an emergency clinician for three years. In 2010, he moved to a small animal general practice and is now a valued team member at Three Notch and Park. Dr. Veitch is also a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association and the Veterinary Information Network, and his professional interests include diagnostic imaging and internal medicine.Dr. Veitch currently resides in Mechanicsville, MD with his wife and two children. In his spare time, Dr. Veitch enjoys hiking, fishing, camping, geochaching, and scuba diving.
