Veterinarian Overview
Dr. O'Connor was born and raised in Leonardtown, Maryland. She graduated from St. Mary's Ryken High School in 1988 and attended St. Mary's College, graduating with her Bachelor's in biology in 1992. She moved to Baltimore and worked in a research laboratory at John Hopkins University for two years before applying to Veterinary School. She attended veterinary school at Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine, graduating in May of 1998. She worked for a veterinary practice in Charles County for one year before joining the staff Three Notch Veterinary Hospital in July 1999.Dr. O'Connor's professional interests include internal medicine and soft tissue surgery utilizing our laser unit. She also has a special interest and additional training in ultrasonography of the abdomen and heart of cats and dogs. She regularly attends both local and national continuing education courses yearly to update her skills in veterinary medicine.Dr. O'Connor and her husband live in Lusby with their three cats...
