Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Ryan Dhuet graduated from the LSU School of Veterinary Medicine in May of 2013. He is a native of the Lafayette area. Prior to attending veterinary school, he completed his bachelor's degree in Animal Science at LSU after transferring from Francis Marion University in South Carolina where he played college soccer. Dr. Ryan studied mixed animal practice as his area of concentration during his 4th year of veterinary school. His main interests include Ophthalmology, Theriogenology, Ultrasound, Exotic Animal Medicine, and Orthopedics. He was awarded the Boehringer Ingelheim Food Animal Proficiency Award in 2013 and was a member of the Merial Summer Scholars Research Program at LSU in 2012 studying NSAIDs in horses. His hobbies include hunting, fishing, and golf.
