Veterinarian Overview
Perlita Reyes,since I can remember I have always wanted to work with animals whether they are small or large. My love for animals and love for science made it easy for me to choose my degree path. After 5 years of studies I graduated from Sam Houston State University in May 2013 with a Bachelors in Animal Science and minor in Biology. Upon graduating there was never a doubt in my mind that the veterinary field is where I wanted to be.
A little about me: On my downtime I love to workout, watch/go to Rodeos, or help my dad with our animals. We have two Quarter horses, a dark bay 16 year old mare named Lola and a 3 year old sorrel stallion named Navajo. Lola is usually the calm docile one while Navajo is the curious energetic little boy. It evens out because he brings out LolaÍs playful rowdy side which makes it fun for me to work with them. We also have a handful of goats and chickens who are kept guarded by our beautiful white German Shepherd Goldie.
I cannot describe how excited and blessed I am to be a part of the Town East Animal Hospital family! I look forward to meeting you and your pets!!
