Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Murphy grew up in Webster, NY. After high school, he attended the University of Tennessee/Knoxville where he earned his bachelors degree in Animal Science in 1982. He was awarded the Outstanding Junior and Senior of the College of Agriculture. He attended the University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine, and was awarded his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 1986. Dr. Murphy is a member of the New York State Medical Association, The American Veterinary Medical Association, Genessee Valley Veterinary Association, and the American Animal Hospital Association. He is a Fear Free certified doctor who is committed to fear free, anxiety free animal care. He is dedicated to staying current in medical and surgical techniques. Dr. Murphy has been practicing veterinary medicine for over 30 years throughout the Rochester area. He is a professional, knowledgeable and experienced veterinarian. Dr. Murphy is passionate about veterinary medicine and enjoys meeting clients and their pets. He provides caring, gentle, comprehensive and quality care for his patients. He is dedicated to educating clients and involving them in a lifetime of health care for their pets.
