Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Richard Schumacher received his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Colorado State University and opened Stoney Pointe in 1990. Dr. Schumacher is married to his wife Sarah and he has five children Matthew, Leah, Caleb, Carleigh and Corah. They share their home with 5 dogs: Remington (Boxer), Fiona (Pug), Mae Ling (Sharpei), Frankie (French Bulldog), Bruno (French Bulldog) and their 2 cats Chloe and Rosetta. When not working, he enjoys spending his time woodworking, fishing, traveling, and learning.
