Veterinarian Overview
Bradford J. Holmberg, DVM, MS, PhD, DACVO received his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Missouri. He completed a small animal internship at the University of Florida and later pursued a comparative ophthalmology residency at the University of California Davis. In addition, Dr. Holmberg received his Master of Science degree in neuroscience from Purdue University and his Doctorate of Philosophy with a concentration in neuroendocrinology from the University of Missouri. Dr. Holmberg became a board-certified Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Ophthalmologists in 2005. His special interests include exotic animal ophthalmology and all aspects of ophthalmic surgery. Dr. Holmberg has been awarded several prestigious research grants, written numerous scientific papers, and contributed chapters to a number of veterinary textbooks. He also provides continuing education to veterinarians throughout the country, serves as a reviewer for several veterinary journals, was a member of the ACVO exam committee and is currently a board member of the Vision for Animals Foundation.
