Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Strickler earned her MS and DVM degrees from The Ohio State University. After graduation, she completed a rotating internship in small animcal medicine and surgery at Veterinary Specialty Center of Delaware. Her clinical interests include surgery, diagnostic imaging, and dermatology. Outside the clinic, Dr. Strickler is a registered nurse volunteer for the National Animal Health Emergency Response Corps (USDA-APHIS) and is an active member of World Vets. She has worked internationally in Ecuador, Nicaragua, and Sierra Leone. Dr. Stricklers background is in wildlife conservation and her masters research was conducted at the Smithsonian Conservation Biology Institute and the National Zoo where she worked closely with Przewalskis horses and black-footed ferrets. She is also fond of grizzly bears, bats, and rhinos. In her spare time, Dr. Strickler is an avid traveler and enjoys SCUBA diving
