Veterinarian Overview
Louis A DelGiudice, DVM, DACVECC obtained his doctor of veterinary medicine from Purdue University. He completed a residency in emergency and critical care medicine at a specialty/emergency hospital in Los Angeles, CA and became a boarded diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care in 2009. Dr. DelGiudice is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, the Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care Society, the human Society of Critical Care Medicine, and the Veterinary Interventional Radiology and Interventional Endoscopy Society . He serves on several committees for the American College of Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care and the Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care Society. Dr. DelGiudice has a special interest in trauma, respiratory emergencies, and coagulation abnormalities. He has competence in thoracic and abdominal ultrasonography as well as emergency surgery. Dr. DelGiudice will serve as Chief of the Emergency and Critical Care service and will oversee all cases seen through the department. In his off time, Dr. DelGiudice enjoys spending time with his wife and three daughters.
