Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Caroline Kozar was born and raised outside of Philadelphia, PA. She graduated from the University of Delaware and then attended veterinary school on the beautiful island of Grenada while at St. George's University. She completed her clinical year of training at the University of Georgia. She then moved back up north and completed a 1 year rotating surgery/internal medicine/emergency internship at Veterinary Emergency Referral Group in Brooklyn, NY before moving across the river to New Jersey. She joined the practice in March 2018. While studying in the Caribbean, Dr. Kozar enjoyed assisting the local community with vaccine clinics and helping to reduce the stray population by spaying/neutering locally owned dogs and cats. As a young teen Dr. Kozar worked in a local animal shelter and has a soft spot for rescue dogs, especially her island "pothound" named Ginny who she found at the local SPCA while abroad. Aside from shelter medicine, Dr. Kozar enjoys preventative care and dermatology (skin conditions). In her spare time, Dr. Kozar loves to go to the beach, hike with her island pup outside the city and try new restaurants
