Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Dan Otto was inspired to become a veterinarian by his father, Dr. L.K. Otto, who was a veterinarian in Arlington for many years. Dr. Otto earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Kansas State University in 1978, and his DVM (Doctor of Veterinary Medicine) degree from Kansas State in 1983. Currently, he belongs to the AVMA (American Veterinary Medical Association), NVMA (Nebraska Veterinary Medical Association), KVMA (Kansas Veterinary Medical Association), and is licensed in both Florida and Nebraska. Dr. Otto has been active on various community and church-related boards, such as the Community Hospital of McCook board, and the Board of Trustees. He has a wife, Melinda, and three grown children, Megan, Brian, and Jeffrey. He also has three pets of his own, including his dog, Toby, and two cats, Frankenstein and Oreo. Dr. Ottos love of animals shows through in the set of principles on which he practices.
