Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Ashley Baker is a 2009 graduate of Kansas State University. Upon graduation, she moved to Thibodaux, Lousiana, working in an animal hospital that served large and small animals, including exotic pets. After 3 years there, she moved back to the Kansas City area to be closer to family and to raise her daughter, Harlow, who is 1 1/2 year old. Dr. Baker enjoys all aspects of veterinary medicine but takes a special interest in dermatology and internal medicine. She has also had training in small animal ultrasonography. Horseback riding is her favorite activity, and she has 4 horses. This includes her childhood pony, Buddy, that is now her daughter's pony to ride (for 1 or 2 years!) Dr. Baker has 2 Australian Shepherds, Harley and Sydney. Her other hobbies include interior decorating, planting flower beds, and reading (when Harlow allows).
