Veterinarian Overview
Dr. OÂ’Dell is a 2000 graduate from the College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Missouri and has enjoyed being with the Branson Veterinary Hospital since graduation. Prior to veterinary school, in 1987 Dr. OÂ’Dell received a Bachelor of Science in Wildlife Biology at Southwest Missouri State University. Following graduation he was hired by the Missouri Dept. of Conservation and worked as a biologist at Duck Creek Waterfowl Management Area in Puxico, MO. After one and half years with the MDC he returned to SMSU, where he received a master of Science in Wildlife Ecology in 1991. Dr. OÂ’Dell was then hired by the Florida Game and Freshwater Fish Commission as a Wildlife Biologist in the Everglades Ecosystem for the next 5 years. It was in Florida where Dr. OÂ’Dell realized his love for the medical diagnosis and treatment of animals, and decided to return to Missouri for his studies at the University of Missouri. Dr OÂ’Dell has been married to his wife, Angie, for 24 years and they have two wonderful children.
