Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Schwarzentraub grew up on a farm north of Princeton Illinois and did his undergraduate work at the University of Illinois. He graduated from the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine and worked at Holly's Animal Hospital for 9 years as an associate veterinarian. He built Prospect Animal Clinic and moved in on July 23, 1979. He especially enjoys working with all the families and pets he has known over the many years in Peoria. In his spare time he enjoys reading, movies, travel and spending time visiting his four children--Jeff, Jennifer, Julie and Justin and 8 grandchildren. As most everyone knows he LOVES Chicago Sports (Cubs, Hawks,Bears, and even Bulls) along with the struggling Illini sports teams
