Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Scionti studied pathophysiology at UCONN until 1996 when she was accepted early admission into the University of Minnesota veterinary program. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Veterinary Medicine in 1998 while attending veterinary school. She graduated from the University of Minnesota, College of Veterinary Medicine in 2000. Dr. Scionti has worked as an associate in several practices in the Hartford and Fairfield County areas. In addition, she owned her own veterinary practice for several years before joining Countryside Veterinary Hospital. Dr. Scionti is a resident of Trumbull where she lives with her two children, Sophia and Jake. She currently has 2 black cats, Tattoo and Pinklepurr.Outside of spending time with her children, Dr. Sciontis interests are physical fitness, gardening, reading and spending as much time as possible outdoors. She is a certified spinning instructor and teaches spin classes locally for fun.
