I believe you are the Dr. Tara Haddad who took care of our brindle Whippet Bennie many years ago at U of I. He had lymphoma and was in dire condition when we first brought him to you. With TLC and chemo he went into remission. That didn't last long. We brought him to you one last time. With your guidance and love, you stayed with us as we let our beloved Bennie, with his pink blanket, fly to heaven on October 25, 1991. All of these years later, we still have Bennie's pink. Since then, we've always had 3 Whippets at a time. Right now we have 4. A puppy, 5, 6 and soon to be 13 year old Macanudo who has had 3 rough surgeries to remove cancerous tumors since July. He pulls through pretty well each time. We don't take a single day for granted. We love and cherish very moment not only with him but all of our whippets. Anyway, I want to say that I think of you often and you have a special place in my heart. I'm not surprised to see that you provide hospice care for pets, I am a Hospice RN at a stand alone in-patient facility in Munster, IN.
