Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Marietta Cather Walls grew up in Clearbrook, Virginia and is a 1981 graduate of James Wood High School. She lives with her husband and 2 children in Frederick County on a small farm. Her home is filled with dogs and cats and the barns are full of chickens, ducks, rabbits, sheep, goats, pigs and cows. She is very active in the Frederick County Rotary Club, 4-H clubs, and Fair Association. Community service is her passion. In 1988, she received her doctor of Veterinary medicine from the VA-MD Regional College of Veterinary Medicine. Her undergraduate study was in animal science. She has been the directing Veterinarian of Apple Valley Animal Hospital since 1991. Her special interests are dermatology, internal medicine, behavior medicine, and stifle surgery.
