Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Ben Minor is a native of Richmond. After graduating from the Collegiate School in 1986, he attended Hampden-Sydney College and graduated in 1990 Magna Cum Laude with a B.S. in Biology with Honors. From undergraduate school, Dr. Minor attended medical school at the Medical College of Virginia for one year but simply was not happy. Following the wise advice of his father, he left M.C.V. and pursued what would be his current and much loved career in veterinary medicine. Dr. Minor received his D.V.M. from the Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine in 1997 and has been in continuous general practice in Richmond since his graduation. His special interests include orthopedic surgery of the knee, oncology and chemotherapy, and geriatric medicine. It it of the utmost importance to Dr. Minor to develop and maintain as strong a relationship with his clients as he does with his patients.
