Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Christopher Perry is an associate veterinarian of Hilton Animal Hospital. Dr. Perry had aspirations of becoming a veterinarian since his early childhood years in Georgia. Prior to attending the University of Georgia for his Veterinary Degree, Dr. Perry held a wide range of animal related jobs from working in kennels, to milking dairy cows, and even breeding thoroughbred horses. Despite this wide range of experience with animals of all shapes and sizes, Dr. Perry still holds dog and cats as his favorites. This love of companion animals propelled him to complete advanced training during a one year internship at a 24 hour Emergency Hospital in Chattanooga, Tennessee. This training enhanced Dr. Perrys medical skills and commitment to delivering the best in patient care. Dr. Perrys special interests include surgery, dentistry, preventative medicine, and client education. When not practicing medicine, Dr. Perry is most likely to be found enjoying the many outdoor activities that Hampton Roads has to offer with his Border Collie mix named Zoe. Dr. Perry is also an avid traveler and enjoys learning of new cultures. In fact, his love for travel and medicine led him to study veterinary medicine abroad in Brazil while obtaining his DVM degree.I am excited to serve clients and their pets of Newport News by maintaining the quality of care that Hilton Animal Hospital is known for providing.
