Veterinarian Overview
After receiving both a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine and an undergraduate degree in biology at Virginia Tech, you can imagine Dr. Marsha Councill is a Hokie through and through! Since joining the staff at Kiln Creek in June 2000, Dr. Councill has been concentrating her efforts in dentistry, surgery, and diagnostic ultrasound. With the aid of ultrasound, Dr. Councill is able to diagnose and evaluate heart disease and image the abdomen to evaluate organ systems in a very non-invasive manner. Dr. Councills other interests include endocrinology and orthopedics. When Dr. Councill isnt working, she enjoys running and spending time with her husband, Glenn (also a Veterinarian), their daughters Hannah and Sarah, & their Cocker Spaniel, Bentley.
