Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Jennifer Corbin graduated from veterinary school at Virginia Tech in 2004; prior to attending vet school, she received a Bachelor of Accounting degree from Virginia Tech. (Many people believe Disney World to be the greatest place on Earth, but it is actually Blacksburg!)After graduation, she and her husband moved to Florida, where they lived for several years before returning to Virginia. She has been practicing small animal medicine and surgery since graduating, and particularly enjoys internal medicine and dermatology. Since 2010, she has been serving in the Army Reserve Veterinary Corps; she travels to Fort Lee each month to provide medical and surgical care for the Military Working Dogs. Dr. Corbin lives in the west end of Richmond with her husband, three sons, two kittens, and one elderly pug. She dreams of having free time again in the future, when she would enjoy running, hiking, traveling, following VT football (no matter the disappointment!) and sleeping.Dr. Corbin is available at Swift Creek Animal Hospital on Thursdays and Fridays, and performing surgery Friday mornings.
