Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Julie Buford is a graduate of Auburn Universitys College of Veterinary Medicine. She is originally from Grant, Alabama and attended the University of Alabama for her undergraduate degree, majoring in Biology and minoring in Spanish and Liberal Studies. After graduation, Dr. Buford completed an internship in small animal medicine and surgery at Red Bank Veterinary Hospital in Tinton Falls, New Jersey. Her veterinary interests include surgery, dentistry, emergency medicine, business management, womens veterinary leadership development and mentoring. Dr. Buford acts as the medical director for Value Vet and travels to work at Value Vet in Northern Virginia, Nashville, Atlanta and beyond. Dr. Buford has worked for Value Vet since 2009 and lives in Nashville with her husband Adam and daughter Beatrice. She also shares her home with Harper Lee, a Hound Mix, Albert, a Labradoodle mix and 3 kitties, Truman, Scout and Crystal. Julie enjoys travel, reading, listening to her husband play guitar, yoga/Pilates, chasing after her daughter and meeting new people.
