Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Robinson was born and raised in Newport News, Virginia. He went to school at Walsingham Academy in Williamsburg, Virginia, and then attended the University of Virginia where he graduated with a degree in biology. Dr. Robinson started graduate studies at Old Dominion University and was accepted to Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine. He studied the basic sciences there in St. Kitts, West Indies, and finished his clinical studies at the University of Illinois in 2007. Dr. Robinson always had a love of animals and discovered that he had a connection/bond with them that made working in animal health care an easy and natural choice. He worked as an assistant for multiple practices throughout his undergraduate years. Today, he practices veterinary medicine, focusing on preventive care, and has an interest in soft tissue surgeries and ultrasonography. Dr. Robinsons father was a family doctor in Newport News for over 30 years. His mother was a Vice President of Advertising for a womens clothing company. His brother is a property manager in the Outer Banks where he enjoys sailing, and his sister works for a national education nonprofit and enjoys running marathons. In his free time, Dr. Robinson enjoys sports. He played baseball, basketball and soccer in high school and was an avid surfer until recently. He still plays basketball and tennis and also enjoys playing with his dog. Dr. Robinson resides in Northern Virginia with his wife and son, born in 2015. The Robinsons enjoy visiting with grandparents, friends, and taking their son on adventures. They also have one dog and one cat who are a big part of their family. Dr. Robinson also enjoys sports. He played baseball, basketball and soccer in high school. He still plays basketball and tennis and looks forward to playing these sports with his son someday.
