Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Maureen Ostlund Ward earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2005, and completed her DVM degree from Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine in 2009. Dr. Ward practiced in Richmond, Virginia for two years prior to re-locating to her home town and joining this practice. In April 2016, Dr. Ward purchased Harrisonburg Animal Hospital; owning a veterinary clinic has been a life-long dream for Dr. Ward, and she is excited about the opportunity to serve all her clients and patients. Dr. Ward lives in Singers Glen, with her husband, 2 daughters, 1 dog and 2 cats. In her time away from the hospital, Dr. Ward enjoys reading, and spending time with friends and family.
