Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Brian Richie received a BS in Animal Science from the University of Tennessee at Martin. He then attended veterinary school at Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine on the island of St. Kitts in the West Indies. He completed his clinical year of studies at Purdue University Veterinary School in West Lafayette, Indiana and graduated in 2007. Dr. Richies special interests include neurology, behavior, and dermatology and he is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association and American Animal Hospital Association. He lives in Newport News with his island dog Tallulah and in his spare time he enjoys mountaineering, backpacking, running, mountain biking, playing sports, and cooking.
