Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Jennifer Halley graduated from the United States Naval Academy in 1991 as a Commissioned Ensign and served as a helicopter pilot for 5 years. She graduated from the Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine in 2001 (go Hokies!!). For many years she owned an equine ambulatory practice before moving into small animal emergency medicine in 2007. She moved from Maryland to Fredericksburg and lives with with her three Shelties, Kieran, Luna, and Sylvie. She is excited about getting to know her patients and clients on a long term basis, rather than just seeing them once in the emergency room. Her veterinary interests include emergency medicine, critical care, and toxicology. She is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association and the Veterinary Emergency & Critical Care Society. When she is not at work she enjoys cycling, running, and visiting her family on the Eastern Shore of Maryland, Annapolis, and Pennsylvania
