Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Johnson has been with us since August 2014 and has been practicing for over 20 years. She was born and raised in Oklahoma and knew from a very young age she wanted to be a veterinarian. She graduated from Oklahoma State University Center for Veterinary Health Sciences in 1993. She has advanced experience in small animal medicine, surgery, ultrasound diagnostics, digitial radiography, laser surgery, cytology, exotic medicine and preventative care. Her favorite part of veterinary medicine is being able to share her passion for veterinary medicine with her clients and soft tissue surgery. She will be getting married next year and is looking forward to having 3 boys. In her free time she loves to go large mouth bass fishing but also does some salt water fishing, botanical gardening, going to the Urbanna Rappahannock River, and camping. Dr. Johnson has 3 doggies, Shorty (a yorkie), Buggie (a Border Collie-mix, and Cassie (a Beagle-Dachshund mix).
