Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Beard is the former owner of Mount Hermon Animal Clinic where she practiced for 14 years before coming to Chatham Animal Clinic in 1999. She received her Bachelor of Science degree from the College of Agriculture at West Virginia University and Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from the College of Veterinary Medicine at Ohio State University. In her 33 years of clinical practice she has developed special interests in feline medicine and soft tissue surgery. She is a member of Mount Hermon Baptist Church where she plays in the bell choir, sings in the adult choir, and participates in BSF Bible Study. She spends her spare time with her husband Buddy, son Ryne, and her pets. She enjoys playing the piano and gardening.
