Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Ryle graduated from Virginia Tech in 1991. After college, she obtained a MastersÍ Degree from Johns Hopkins University, while working in renal transplant research at the National Naval Medical center in Bethesda. She then attended the Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine at Virginia Tech, where she attained her DVM degree. She has worked at Deepwood since 2003.Her family includes her husband, two children, three cats, two dogs (a Miniature Pinscher named Baxter, and a Boxer named Lucy), one snake, one rabbit and two guinea pigs _ all of whom keep her quite busy in her spare time. She enjoys the challenge of working with exotic animals, especially birds, reptiles and pocket pets. Dr. Ryle is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association. She enjoys treating animals of all kinds, as well as helping the many rescue groups with which Deepwood works.
