Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Snelgrove grew up in a rural town in Kentucky and decided to follow in her father's footsteps in becoming a veterinarian. She received her undergraduate degree in Agriculture from Eastern Kentucky University. She then went on to complete her veterinary degree from Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2013. Following graduation, she moved to Northern Virginia with her husband and has been in general practice for 2 years. Dr. Snelgrove enjoys working with local non-profits and rescue groups. She also continues to do emergency relief work in the area. Dr. Snelgrove is certified by the USDA to perform Interstate and International health certificates for small animals (APHIS). She currently resides in Alexandria with her husband, her cat named Lily, and her lab mix named Argon. In her spare time she enjoys running, hiking, yoga and rock climbing.
