Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Choi is a native of Korea came to United States with her family when she was 17 years old. Upon graduation from Virginia Tech, she went to Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine where she graduated in 2011. She joined Sunshine Animal Hospital in 2016 with her dog, Papillon. Dr. Choi believes that client education is a very important aspect of pet care through which the bond between pet owners and pets can get stronger. Dr. Choi has strong interests in Oriental medicine influenced by her mother who was an oriental medicine doctor, which led her to study animal acupuncture which she successfully finished studying in 2015. Dr. Choi is married to SC and they love to hike and travel (and eat) in their free time
