Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Novarr was born and raised in Bloomfield, Connecticut, and attended the University of Miami (Florida), where he earned a BS in biology. After graduating, he moved to Indiana, where he attended the Purdue University Veterinary School. He had the opportunity to work with animals in South Africa and Australia before deciding to focus on cats and dogs in a small animal practice. After finishing veterinary school, he began work at Columbia Pike and now lives in D.C. with his dog, Zody.
Dr. Novarr believes that client education and quality communication are two of the most important aspects of keeping our pets healthy, and he uses detailed discharge instructions, handouts, and email communication to accomplish these goals.
