Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Vanderhoof, associate veterinarian, was raised in Hopatcong, NJ. He completed an associate degree in veterinary technology and practiced as a veterinary technician prior to completing a bachelors degree in animal science at Virginia Tech in 2008. He received his DVM degree at the Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine in 2013 and completed a masters degree in public health the following fall. In the summer of 2015, Dr. Vanderhoof completed a rotating internship in medicine and surgery with Red Bank Veterinary Hospital in NJ. Dr. Vanderhoofs veterinary interests include ultrasound, soft tissue surgery, acupuncture, and public health. Interests outside of work include running, the outdoors, and watching movies. Dr. Vanderhoof currently resides in Stafford with his wife, daughter, and their three cats, Tech, Bart, and Annie.
