Veterinarian Overview
Many of you may remember Dr. Kolbaba from years ago when he began his veterinary career at Pet Medical Center in Orem as a veterinary assistant. At that time, he was completing his undergraduate degree in biology at Brigham Young University (2011). He then attended St. Mathew's College of Veterinary Medicine (2015) and completed his clinical rotations at North Carolina State College of Veterinary Medicine. He returned to work for South Mountain Pet Care as a DVM in 2015. His special interests include canine reproduction, dermatology, aquaculture and fish medicine. When he is not at work he enjoys spending time with his wife Jessica and new baby girl Olivia and working on landscaping his new home in Lehi. He also enjoys, when he gets time, hiking, traveling, fishing, scuba diving, and being outdoors. Dr. Kolbaba is a marine aquarium enthusiast and even grew coral in his garage. Samson is his trusty English bull terrier, who is a great traveling companion and adventurer. Dr. Kolbaba has called many places his home, including Illinois, Utah, Nicaragua, Grand Cayman, and North Carolina.
