Veterinarian Overview
Gerald Pendery was born and raised in Fort Worth. After graduating from high school, he followed his father's footprints to Texas A&M for his undergraduate degree. After two years in graduate school working on a master's degree in veterinary physiology, he enrolled in veterinary school and graduated in 1975.Upon graduation, Dr. Pendery practiced at Park Cities Animal Hospital for five years, then purchased Valwood Animal Hospital in 1980 where he has been in practice ever since.Dr. Pendery has a strong interest in internal medicine and geriatric care. He has served as president of the Dallas County Veterinary Medical Association and president and officer of the North Texas Emergency Pet Clinic and the Flower Mound Emergency Pet Clinic. He is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, the Texas Veterinary Medical Association, and the Dallas County Veterinary Medical Association.Dr. Pendery is married to Julia Pendery and they have two sons, Geoffrey and Clark. Outside of veterinary medicine he enjoys the outdoors, fishing, golf, hunting, and photography. Reading and cooking are his indoor hobbies.
