Veterinarian Overview
I grew up in Fort Worth, TX and knew from an early age that I wanted to be a veterinarian. After graduating from Texas A&M with a degree in Biomedical Science in 1987, I went on to graduate from the College of Veterinary Medicine at Texas A&M in 1991. In my first practice near Dallas, I saw many kinds of animals and it was there that I met and married my husband, Greg. In 1998, Greg and I had the opportunity to open Live Oak Veterinary Park. We envisioned a practice that emphasized the relationship between the pet owner and their veterinarian. Many of our dogs and cats today are not just pets but members of the family. We want to know our patients and clients personally so that we can give them the high quality medical care they deserve. We have 1 blue Heeler named Fate (AKA the princess) and 2 cats Taz and Trey. In my spare time I enjoy cycling and am training for a triathalon.
