Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Herring grew up in Weatherford, Texas. Like many veterinarians, her passion for animals began at a young age and her many childhood pets sparked Emilys desire to devote her life to animal health. Dr. Herring earned her masters degree in Biomedical Science from Texas A&M with an emphasis in neuroscience research. She then went on to complete her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine at Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Herrings professional interests include canine and feline Interal Medicine and Dermatology. She also, has an interest in caring for pocket pets. She shares her life with her husband and Dallas native, John, and their son Samuel. Emily, John and Samuel also live with their three-legged rescue Greyhound, Lightening, two Guinea pigs, Cindy and Tracy, and a Chinchilla, Desi.
